many emotions of me
life series
This is a mixed media series. Unlike the series ‘Reflection’ which focuses inward, this work looks outward, it is my perspective on the things I see looking out into the world, the good, the bad and the ugly. But always looking at what lessons can be learned from them.
life series - blaze
‘Feelings of overwhelm, the enormity of what it is to be a woman, mother, wife, student’.
Driven by love, burdened by worry, constantly pained by the struggles of those I love and those I don’t. Feelings of inadequacy, feelings of strength, the need to fix, the need to sooth, to make it right…
A want to succeed for myself and for my family, I want to be an inspiration, to be the mother and wife they need and want.
’Identity’ who am I?. Can I be it all? Do I have the strength, the knowledge the skill?
Its all too much. Too consuming. I feel I will burn away in the flames of all I am and all I could be.
The fire roars, the intensity of the feelings, tearing through me. Parts of me, parts of my formed identity, my scattered mind and emotions, flying away in the embers of my dying self, will I renew, can I continue to rise again and again and again? Will I be better for it? or a broken shell left behind once everyone has had their piece, their share of my energy, my mind, my emotion.
I can. I will. Because I am Woman!
May we all transition and come out stronger!

life series - fingers of my enemies
In this thought-provoking piece, the artist presents a look at the nature of offence in our daily lives. "Fingers of My Enemies" takes the form of a necklace, crafted from polymer clay, featuring a series of fingers that appear to be suspended from a black cord.
At first glance, the work may seem macabre or even playful, closer inspection reveals a profound exploration of the human experience. The artist invites us to consider the weight of anger and resentment that many of us carry, as we navigate the complexities of interpersonal interactions.
The fingers serve as a metaphor for the emotional baggage we accumulate when we feel wronged or offended. By presenting these fingers as a wearable piece of jewellery, the artist highlights the ways in which we often "wear" our grievances, allowing them to define and shape our relationships.
Through "Fingers of My Enemies," the artist prompts us to reflect on the consequences of allowing anger and resentment to dominate our interactions. The piece serves as a poignant reminder of the need for empathy, understanding, and open communication in our increasingly complex social landscape.
Artist's Statement:
"'Fingers of My Enemies' a reflection of our time, where being offended has become an all-too-common experience. I wanted to visualise the emotional burden we carry when we harbour anger and resentment towards others. By creating a necklace of fingers, I aim to spark a conversation about the importance of empathy and understanding in our relationships, and the need to release the emotional weight that can consume us."

reflections series
These Self Portraits are a look into my inner landscape or moods and dialogue.
reflections series

spirit series
I’ve always been fascinated by the intangible, the esoteric and the study of energy.
I am on a mission within my artwork as how best to portray experiences I have had with this intangible energy that penetrates our reality, often unseen or felt by the lay person, but those that seek it can not only learn to feel it but actually interact with it on many levels and in many ways.
These images were taken with a DSLR camera and nothing has been altered I used coloured filters and reflective materials projecting coloured light reflection and refraction onto the surface being photographed.
The light and shadow within these images shows my interaction with the energy within and all around me and allows the viewer to see and hopefully sense a connection to something greater and my hope is that it encourages them to seek a connection to the divine both within and outside of themselves.
